German Government to Replace 20,000 computers


 
As a result of a serious security breach the German taxpayer will have to fork out millions of of euros to replace 20,000 computers.

Data was stolen from the network, it has since been revealed the attack that took place weeks ago, was worse than initially appreciated. The malware was active and still trying to syphon data as of the 9th June 2015. 


The attack is likely to have a ripple effect on the economy at large as the German government is forced to replace servers and 20,000 computers.

Russian hackers are suspected of being behind the attack.
