"Orange Is The New Black" Leaked

Netflix is dealing with the aftermath of a show leak after failing to a heed a warning from an entity calling themselves 'The Dark Overlord'. Variety Magazine magazine claim Netflix received a ransom demand with the threat being that should they fail to pay the hacker(s) would leak the entire season of the forthcoming series. The exact amount demanded is yet unknown.The show was due to be released for public viewing on June 9.

The security breach has been linked back to a post production company by the name of Larson Studios. News outlets are reporting that the FBI only alerted Larson Studios last month, despite having known of the breach in January. http://whdh.com/entertainment/netflix-hacked-new-material-released/

The Dark Overlord has threatened to leak additional shows belonging to other major entertainment corporations including Fox, ABC, National Geographic and IFC should their ransom demands not be met. The Dark Overlord claim to have access to hundreds of gigabytes of unreleased film and television footage belonging to at least one Hollywood studio.
